Tata Curvv: A Much Clearer Look At Its Interior Ahead Of Its Unveiling

Tata Motors has brought in a new lower priced version of the Sumo Grand in the form of the Movus. Made available in with a host of flexible seating options with front facing, side-facing and Captain seats in the 7, 8 & 9-seater variants, the Movus comes with an engine warranty of three years or 1,50,000km. The Movus will be made available in two variants – CX and LX. On the outside, it pretty much has the same design like the Sumo Grande except for the side decals. The interior styling too remains unchanged.
The Movus will be powered by the 2.2-litre, turbo-diesel DICOR engine that produces 120PS of power and 250Nm of torque. The same mill also does duty in the Tata Sumo Grande, the Safari Storme and the Aria. Fitted with a 65 litre fuel tank, Tata claims an efficiency of 15.16kmpl, giving it a range of over 900km. Focusing on a comfortable ride quality, Tata Motors have with Independent Double Wishbone with coil springs in the front and Parabolic Leaf Spring-type suspension for the rear wheels.

The Movus will be made available in Porcelain White and Meteor Silverin. Launched at a starting price of Rs 6.99 lakh, the Movus is a little less than Rs 1 lakh easier on your pocket than the Sumo Grande base LX variant and will go up against the likes of the Mahindra Xylo D2 and the Ashok Leyland Stile.
