Priced at a premium of Rs 14 lakh over its standard counterpart.
Design is similar aside from revised bumpers, more aggressive wheels, and AMG’s Panamericana slatted grille.
Retains everything from the GLC coupe and gets additional bits like a flat-bottom steering wheel.
Powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol delivering 390PS and 520Nm.
Paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive it hits 0-100kmph in 4.9 seconds.
It rivals the Porsche Macan in India.
Mercedes-Benz has finally brought its first AMG model to be assembled in India, the facelifted GLC 43 Coupe, at a price of Rs 76.70 lakh (ex-showroom). That's a premium of Rs 14 lakh over the standard GLC coupe that’s priced from Rs 62.70 lakh (ex-showroom). Not only does it get all the updates from its standard counterpart, but it also adds a bit of AMG into the mix.

On the outside, it is pretty much similar to the standard GLC coupe, aside from the AMG bits that add to the sportiness of the SUV coupe. This includes AMG’s Panamericana slatted grille, flanked by sportier bumpers, and a swanky set of 20-inch AMG alloy wheels.

Not much has changed inside other than a new flat-bottom steering wheel setup. Feature highlights include a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, a 10.25-inch touchscreen with MBUX infotainment, a Burmeister sound system, wireless charging, Mercedes Me Connect, 64-colour ambient lighting, and seven airbags.

The crux of the AMG 43 Coupe is under the hood. Powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol, it pushes out 390PS of grunt and 520Nm of twist. Power is transferred to all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic gearbox to help it go from 0-100kmph in 4.9 seconds. All this gives the SUV coupe an electronically limited top speed of 250kmph. It also gets five drive modes to choose from: Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport+ and Individual.

Expect more AMG models to be manufactured locally as completely knocked down units. It will go up against the Porsche Macan, but the Macan itself is set to get the spicier GTS and Turbo variants in India soon.
