Mario Iroth and Lilis Handayani from Indonesia are on an overland trip to Europe on a Benelli TNT 600i motorcycle.
So far, Mario and Lilis have already covered more than 12,000 kilometres on their journey through South East Asia - Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, India and Nepal.
“People and fellow adventure riders we met on our journey so far are surprised to see us on a streetbike. After having completed the first leg of my journey, I’m completely satisfied with my decision,” said Mario.
Currently in India, the next stop for the couple will be Pakistan and then through Iran, Turkey and Greece to Italy, at the Benelli factory in Pesaro.
“We were thrilled to find out that Mario Iroth has chosen the Benelli TNT 600i for his awe-inspiring journey through 14 countries. It requires great tenacity, reliability, power and world-class build quality, all of which are embodied in this marvel of a street-fighter. We are pleased to know that Mario has found his choice to be ideal and wish him good luck for the next part of his extraordinary ride,” said Shirish Kulkarni, Chairman, DSK Motowheels.
After reaching Italy, and visiting the birthplace of Benelli in Pesaro, Italy, the journey will continue to Germany and then finally culminate in France, to meet the theme of this intercontinental ride – Paris to Paris; Mario and Lilis started their journey from Paris van Java in Indonesia to end at Paris, France.
