Citroen announced its entry into the Indian market last week with plans to launch its first vehicle by 2020. The French carmaker has now announced plans to extend its operations to the used car business in partnership with CarDekho, India’s biggest platform for buying and selling used cars.
At the event to announce the partnership, Citroen and CarDekho signed a MoU ( memorandum of understanding) for pre-owned trade-in partnership. The new partnership will help Citroen develop a seamless digital experience for its pre-owned customers.
The C5 Aircross SUV will be the first model from the French stable, and is expected to launch by 2020. Citroen also plans to manufacture the car in India and introduce it to other markets later. Along with this, it is also planning to introduce a range of products for India and is eyeing the fast-growing SUV segment, with plans to launch one new model every year.

Within a week of the brand’s launch in India, Citroën is continuing its announcement with pre-owned car business, in partnership with the leading online portal, Cardekho.
This partnership represents one of the first step towards offering ATAWADAC experience to our customers.

Mr. Joel Verany, Vice President Sales & Network Development, Citroën India and Mr. Abhishek Gautam, COO Auctions, CarDekho signed the MoU for PreOwned Trade-in partnership.
