Bajaj Auto has hiked the prices of almost all of the motorcycles they offer in the country. The price hike varies between Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,000 depending on the model chosen. The new prices have already been updated on Bajaj’s official website. The price hike is likely to be on account of rising cost of operation, raw materials and cycle parts.

This will be the second time the Dominar 400 has received a price revision this year. While the Indian motorcycle manufacturer increased the price of both the ABS and non-ABS versions of the Dominar 400 by Rs 2,000, the latest revision makes the premium cruiser dearer by Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,000 depending on the city you buy the bike from. With features like a slipper clutch and all-LED lights, we think the Dominar 400 is the most best bang-for-the-buck Bajaj motorcycle out there.

Bajaj also updated the entire Pulsar lineup earlier this year with what the company refers to as ‘Laser Edged’ graphics design. The changes were cosmetic while the mechanicals are largely unchanged. Even the Avenger range of cruiser motorcycles received a similar treatment a while back. The V15 and V12 series takes roots from Indian Navy’s legendary warship - the INS Vikrant. Since most of the models have received an update or two over the last couple of years, none of them are likely to be receive further updates anytime soon. Hence, this would be a good time to pick up a Bajaj motorcycle if ever you were interested in buying one.

The updated prices for the motorcycles are as follows (ex-showroom, Delhi) -
Dominar 400 – Rs 1,39,000 (STD), Rs 1,53,001 (ABS)
Pulsar RS 200 – Rs 1,22,881 (STD), Rs 1,34,882 (ABS)
