Planning a long trip to the mountains or a quick chai break with your buddies around the block? Wherever your wheels take you, the one thing that remains non-negotiable is protection. For this, you need a solid riding gear combination. Most times you have a search on your hands as you hunt for things that match together and suit your needs but Reise has taken that headache out of the equation with the Rise Pine Air Jacket and Pants, the Rhodes Gloves and the Helden Helmet giving you a complete set.
But does this new Reise kit walk the talk? We gear up and find out.
The Reise Pine Air Jacket
Let’s kick things off with the jacket. Now, a proper touring jacket needs to tick a few very important boxes: ventilation, protection, comfort, and some practical storage too.

First up ventilation. India’s heat doesn’t hold back, and neither does this jacket. It’s got 3D mesh panels on the chest, arms, and back, designed to let air blast right through while you’re riding. On the inside, there’s a sweat-wicking mesh liner that keeps things cool even when you’ve parked and are just hanging out. Basically, your ride won’t feel like a sauna.
What about protection? Reise has you covered with Safetech Level 2 CE-rated guards: strong where it matters, yet light and flexible, thanks to their EasyFlex tech. The guards themselves even have air channels in them, so you’re not sacrificing breathability for safety. Plus, the abrasion zones are reinforced with Tough Guard Cordura fabric, which means that in case of a slide, it’s the jacket taking the hit, not your skin.

And yes, you’ve got pockets too. Two waterproof ones out front, sneaky hand warmers behind those, a big rear stash pocket for liners, and even hidden internal pockets for your valuables. Oh, and it fits like a dream thanks to the girth adjusters on the waist and sleeves. And yes, reflective panels all over for visibility when you’re riding back late at night after a Maggi stop in the hills.
But this isn’t just a spec sheet. We’ve spent long hours and longer rides wearing this jacket and it all works. The ventilation is real. You stay cool on the move, and even during chai breaks, you don’t feel cooked. It’s the kind of jacket that keeps you comfy, so you keep wearing it. And the more you wear it, the safer you stay.

Yes, you’ll need a rain liner in the monsoons and maybe a windproof layer in winter, but for the price, this one’s an absolute win.
Reise Pine Air Pants
The pants match the jacket both in looks and practicality. And yep, they follow the same rulebook - so air flow, armour, and all-day comfort.
Ventilation is also split with a 360-degree mesh system built in over the front, upper thighs and shins on the front and down on the back of the leg. These pants make sure your legs aren’t turning into a furnace.

Protection is next, and again, top marks. You get Safetech Level-2 CE-rated guards for your knees and hips, with EasyFlex tech that means no robot-stiff legs. They even have reinforced high-impact zones with Invista Cordura, so if things go slideways, you’re still safe.
And they’re comfortable too - like, really comfortable. Stretch panels make them easy to walk around in or even with your knees bent spending hours on the bike. There’s elastic at the waist, plus adjusters to fit different body types. This is something we tried in our office and it was really impressive the number of different sizes these 2XL pans managed to fit.

The pants also have proper cargo pockets for essentials and the zipper placement is in such a way that it’s easy to use when sitting on the motorcycle too. There are also big zippers at the leg openings to easily slide even the largest of adventure boots in. Finally there is a back zipper to connect to your jacket turning your outfit into a full riding suit.
We’ve ridden all day in these pants - from the highway to city traffic, and they feel like regular wear. You could ride to work in them, keep them on through the day, and ride back without feeling like you’re in cumbersome riding gear.

Reise Rhodes Gloves
Gloves are often overlooked, but absolutely essential. They are proper full gauntlet-style gloves that look the part and perform even better.
There’s dual-density TPU knuckle protectors, dual-layer leather on the palms, sliders at the wrist and palm, and even a pinky bridge for added safety. It's a total 360-degree hand protection.

Hidden vents in the fingers keep your hands breezy. Accordion panels add flex so you don’t feel stiff, and yep there’s TapFinger so you can swipe through your GPS or Insta stories without pulling the gloves off.
Riding with these gloves feels great. They give you a solid grip on the bars, with plenty of movement for your fingers to move freely to clutch and brake levers. But when you’re off the bike, you’ll probably want to take them off. And Reise thought of that too. There's a clever D-ring on the pants so you can hang your gloves when you stop for that chai.

The Reise Helden Helmet
The Helden helmet looks great, fits snug and stays cool, handles speed and heat well, and has great visibility too. It even supports intercom installation, and most important of all - survived our kettlebell test without a single scratch!
We’ve covered the Reise Helden Helmet separately too. Or for the full video here:
Verdict? Reise Knows What Riders Want
We’ve tested this full set, jacket, pants, gloves, and helmet, through long rides, different weather, and even for everyday city commutes. What stands out is how much thought has gone into making it comfortable without compromising safety. All you need now is a good pair of boots and an open road to take on that trip you’ve been dreaming of.
This is the gear you’ll want to wear every day not just because it looks good, but because it feels good. And with that combo, you stay safe on every single ride.
