On the first day of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, Tata Motors unveiled the new Avinya X concept. It is to be noted that this Avinya X concept, which is a crossover, differs from the previously showcased Avinya. We now find out what is new about the new Tata Avinya X concept in a detailed picture gallery of the.
The recently showcased new Avinya X concept will use a new electric-only platform, called Modular Architecture (EMA), which it will share with British marque JLR’s Electric. This platform is set to debut in 2025 onwards, according to the brand.
Coming to the design of the Avinya X concept, the electric crossover sports a clean-sheet design, featuring an upright front end, rounded-off panels and bulged wheel arches, a slanting roofline that adjoins a rakish rear window, chunky rear bumper, subtle body cladding, and aerodynamically optimised alloy wheels.
The Avinya X concept also features a reinterpreted Tata logo in the form of a ‘T’ pattern front and rear light bars. The front bumper also houses air curtains for improved air flow. Similar to the Curvv, Curvv EV, and the near production Sierra ICE, the electric crossover comes outfitted with flush door handles.
The interior of the Avinya X concept features an upmarket layout that stands out from the on-sale Tata models as well as the Harrier ICE showcased at the Auto Expo 2025. It gets a completely beige interior theme.

Interestingly, the dashboard boasts the same light bar seen on the front and rear end in the ‘T’ pattern. Plus, there is an ultrawide driver display and a sizable touchscreen information display. As seen in the picture, there is also a glass roof, which could be available as a panoramic sunroof in the production model.

While Tata has not revealed any powertrain specifications, the EMA is claimed to offer an integrated propulsion system, which is cell-to-pack battery technology and battery management as well as a charging system that will deliver improved vehicle efficiency and range.
The new Tata Avinya X concept is likely to be showcased in its production form later this year, followed by its probable market launch sometime in 2026.
