It is pretty evident from the table above that the Maruti Suzuki Baleno has no waiting period for cities like Ahmedabad and Surat (Gujrat). The Maruti Suzuki Baleno gets a 1.2-litre Dualjet petrol engine mated to either a 5-speed manual or an AMT automatic transmission, producing 90 PS and 113 Nm. It is available with the option of a CNG powertrain as well producing 77 PS and 98.5 Nm.

Interior features include a 9-inch infotainment system with wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 360-degree camera, heads-up display, 16-inch dual tone alloy wheels, keyless entry and push-button start/stop. Its safety features encompass six airbags, ABS, and electronic stability control.

It is offered in four major trims: Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. Priced from Rs 6.66 lakh to Rs 9.88 lakh (ex-showroom), the Baleno rivals other hatchbacks like the Hyundai i20, Toyota Glanza, and Tata Altroz.
