The past seven days were full of automotive content coming in, right from all details being revealed of the Audi Q3 Sportback to our exclusive spotting of the facelifted Tata Nexon. Here are the top five headline grabbers of the last week:

The current iteration, which was the first midlife refresh of the Tata Nexon, has been on sale since early 2020. Now, we have exclusively got a spy video showing the facelifted Nexon undergoing on-road testing. Its changes will be in accordance with the carmaker’s latest design language, which will be implemented on the SUV’s all-electric counterpart as well.

Audi set the ball rolling for the week by opening bookings for the new Q3 Sportback – the standard Q3’s sportier version – in India. Not only that, but the German marque also revealed all the key details of the coupe SUV, such as its variant, powertrain and features.

It’s been a while since we saw new products being introduced by the Renault-Nissan duo in India. The two marques recently revealed their new global strategies while having a key focus on the Indian market as well. Renault and Nissan have plans to launch as many as four models in the coming years, including a small EV.

Citroen’s first electric car for India will be the eC3, which is the EV derivative of the C3 hatchback. All details, including its battery pack, claimed range and features were shared in January during its unveiling. Now, our dealer sources have hinted at a possible launch timeline of the electric compact hatchback, which will take on the Tata Tiago EV.

The BMW X5 and X6 SUVs have been given a refresh for the global markets. Both the models get revised design bits while their interiors feature a fresh look as well. If you thought that was enough, BMW has gone a step further and given a plug-in hybrid variant to the new X5 too, letting it run on pure EV mode for 110km (WLTP-rated).
