Renault has just unveiled the all-new Duster in India, and amongst the new design, powerful engines and new interior, it also gets a much longer list of features. But while the list is exhaustive, here are the top 5 major ones that you should know about:
A crowd-favourite feature, Renault just couldn’t offer a panoramic sunroof in India, especially when other compact SUVs like the Creta and Sierra offer one too. That said, Renault has not treated it just like a checklist item, but gone for the proper massive unit which stretches all the way to the rear seat.

Notably, this feature also helps give the interior a light and airy feeling, especially given the dark upholstery.
A very useful feature in our tropical and hot climate is the dual-zone climate control, which is something that Renault has not compromised on. Beyond just letting users set individual climate zones, it can also crucially stop those fights over the temperature on long road trips!

Going even further with the comfort factor, the all-new Duster is equipped with 6-way powered and ventilated front seats with adjustable lumbar support, which is a feature that improves the premium cabin feel by a big margin, by letting front occupants adjust the seat to the perfect position with millimetre precision.

Another feature that improves convenience is a powered tailgate, which is offered on the Duster, and just helps make the entire process of loading or unloading luggage that bit easier and effortless.

With roads that are known to be dangerous, safety is one factor that has lately become one of the priorities of buyers, and in keeping with the sentiment, Renault has equipped the Duster with a Level 2 ADAS suite with features such as auto emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning and rear cross traffic alert. With all these assists in place, buyers can be assured of a high level of safety on their drives.

The Duster is a very important product for India, and Renault has left no stone unturned in its quest for the throne of segment, which was started by the Duster itself. And this can be seen in the extensive feature list that has been packed into the SUV. Now all we wait for are the prices, which should be out sometime in mid-March.
