We have the first images of the upcoming Renault Duster as it's revealed in Turkey. Originally debuted as the Dacia Duster back in 2023, the Renault version shows only minor visual tweaks in comparison. This very Duster is expected to make its way on our shores sometime in 2025. Here are five things you can expect from India-spec Duster.

The 2024 Duster showcases a completely revamped design from the last Duster you have seen on our roads. It sports a sleek front grille with Y-shaped LED DRL signature and a chunky front bumper that enhances its rugged look. Its silhouette gets a redesigned glass area, while squared-off wheel arches emphasise its sturdy presence. At the rear, new LED tail lamps with a Y-shaped signature and a large bumper complete its muscular appearance. You can check out the 2024 Duster’s design in more detail over here.

With the 2024 Duster, Renault has adopted a modern approach to cabin design, replacing the outdated traditional dashboard with a minimalist design, featuring sleek AC vents. It features a 10.1-inch floating infotainment system, along with a 7-inch digital driver’s display.

Apart from the new infotainment system and digital driver’s display, the 2024 Duster is expected to come equipped with connected car technology, wireless Android Auto/ Apple CarPlay compatibility, wireless phone charger, a 6-speaker Arkamys sound system, automatic climate control, and cruise control.
Safety features will likely include six airbags, a full suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), an electronic parking brake, hill assist, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and other standard safety features such as ABS with EBD and electronic stability control.

Globally, the Duster is offered with multiple petrol hybrid powertrain choices, including a 130 PS 1.2-litre petrol engine paired with a 48V mild hybrid system, and a 140 PS 1.6-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine with a strong hybrid system paired with a 1.2 kWh battery pack. Additionally, there's a 1-litre petrol-LPG combination available.
While the exact engine option for the India-spec Duster has not been revealed yet, we expect it to be available with a 1.2-litre mild hybrid petrol engine paired with manual and automatic transmission choices.

Prices for the third-gen Duster are expected to start from around Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). When launched, it will rival compact SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Honda Elevate.
