New Audi Q8 Limited Edition Launched In India At Rs. 1.18 crore

Audi India has launched a limited edition model of its flagship Q8 SUV. The Audi Q8 special edition will be available at a price of Rs 1.18 crore, ex-showroom. The launch comes just ahead of the upcoming festive season in India.

Design

Audi is offering this special edition of the Q8 SUV in three exterior paint shades: Mythos Black, Glacier White and the Daytona Grey. Further, the SUV also comes with the S-line exterior package for a host of visually sporty details. This includes the Audi single frame grille in a black shade, Matrix LED headlamps and blacked out roof rails amongst others. It also comes with graphite grey 21-inch alloy wheels.

The Audi Q8 limited edition does not seem to get any special treatment. This flagship SUV continues to be offered with twin touchscreen units, a sound system by B&O, quad-zone automatic climate control and a panoramic sunroof. The driver meanwhile will also benefit from the Audi virtual cockpit - a fully digital driver’s display.

Safety features include eight airbags, ESP, Audi Pre-Sense basic, Audi Park Assist and a rear view camera.

Powertrain

The Audi Q8 special edition is offered with a 3.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system and develops 340 PS and 500 Nm of peak performance. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Audi claims a 0-100 kmph time of 5.9 seconds and a top speed of 250 kmph for this specification. The Q8 not only comes with Audi’s famed Quattro system, but also suspension and damper control along with seven drive modes.

Rivals

In the flagship luxury SUV space, the Audi Q8 rivals the likes of the BMW X5 and X6. This new limited edition model undercuts the Q8 55 Quattro variant by Rs 25 lakh.
