  • Astor commands a waiting period of up to three months in most metropolitan cities.
  • Over 500 deliveries have been made on Dhanteras eve.
  • It is available for ready delivery only in Bengaluru.
  • Astor is priced between Rs 9.78 lakh and Rs 17.38 lakh.
  • It gets segment-first AI tech and autonomous driving features.
  • Gets option of two petrol engines, both paired with automatic.

The recently launched MG Astor, whose deliveries commenced on the eve of Dhanteras, is already sold out for 2021--in fact, it sold out just minutes after bookings began. This could be due to the fact that MG allotted only 5,000 Astors till the end of 2021 due to the global semiconductor chip shortage.

Now, bookings are open for priority delivery in 2022. But by the looks of it, you might have to wait up to four months to get your new Astor.
