Tata Motors recently launched the Curvv EV SUV-coupe, with prices ranging from Rs 17.49 lakh to Rs 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is offered in 5 variants packing different feature and powertrain options and if you were considering the Accomplished + S variant, then this report is for you, as we provide a complete overview of the Accomplished + S 45 and 55 variants in 8 images.
The Accomplished + S variant is essentially an expanded version of the mid-spec Accomplished variant. Therefore, you won't find any visual changes, as it maintains the same design with connected LED DRLs and LED projector headlights and sequential turn indicators. While this variant does include automatic headlight function, it still misses out on the welcome and goodbye animation.
The Accomplished + S variant rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and its ruggedness enhanced by blacked-out chunky wheel arches. The sloping roofline adds a sporty touch, while the flush-fitted door handles provide a premium feel.
At the rear, the Accomplished + S features connected LED tail lights, and its sporty quotient is further enhanced by an upright stance and a dual roof-mounted spoiler.
Step inside, and you'll find the same maroonish red cabin theme in the Accomplished + S variant. The key highlight of the Accomplished + S variant is the addition of the panoramic sunroof, which provides a sense of roominess. Contrasting silver elements on the dashboard and door handles, along with piano black accents on the centre console, make up the design elements of the cabin.
For comfort, you get a front armrest and rear passengers also get a central armrest. However, there is no headrest for the middle occupant.
The Accomplished + S variant comes equipped with features such as 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, 8 speaker audio system with JBL sound modes, 45W type-C charging ports for front and rear passengers, wireless smartphone charger and connected car tech with Arcade.ev suite.
Safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, all-wheel disc brakes, front and rear parking sensors, 360-degree camera system, electronic parking brake, blind spot view monitor and tyre pressure monitoring system. It misses out on ADAS.
The Accomplished + S variant is available with both the battery pack options: 45 kWh and 55 kWh. The 45 kWh pack is paired with a 150 PS/215 Nm electric motor, providing a claimed range of 502 km, while the 55 kWh pack is coupled with a 167 PS/215 Nm electric motor, offering a claimed range of 585 km. It supports DC fast charging, which can charge the vehicle from 10 to 80 percent in 40 minutes. The standard charger, on the other hand, takes 17.5 hours for the 45 kWh battery pack and 21 hours for the 55 kWh battery pack to charge from 10 to 100 percent.
The Accomplished + S 45 variant is priced at Rs 19.29 lakh (ex-showroom) while the Accomplished + S 55 variant is priced at Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom). In terms of rivalry, the Curvv EV takes on the likes of the Mahindra XUV 400, while being an electric SUV coupe alternative to cars like the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Honda Elevate, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
