- Selecting between the Maruti Ertiga and Mahindra Bolero Neo would depend on certain factors such as your preference of the brand, usage, cabin space, and last, the fuel type. The Ertiga seemingly does it all. But you will buy it more because you need it rather than want it. It doesn't have any glaring faults but it could also be a lot better. Maruti Ertiga is offered with a single BS6-compliant petrol engine. The 1.5-liter motor produces 105PS of power and 138Nm of torque. It is paired with a 12-volt Smart Hybrid mild-hybrid system. On the other hand, the Bolero Neo is powered by a 1.5-liter diesel engine that produces 100PS and 260Nm. It is coupled with a 5-speed manual gearbox that drives the rear wheels. The Bolero Neo is aimed at a different buyer, one that values ruggedness, economy and rough road ability over creature comforts. For a better understanding of compatibility, performance and driving comfort, we would suggest you to take a test ride. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details. - The Mahindra Bolero has always stood out as a no-nonsense SUV that delivers great value to its buyers by offering ruggedness and reliability. However, the Bolero misses out on basic things such as internally adjustable ORVMs, dual airbags, better second-row seatbelts, and a rattle-free cabin are a must. On the other hand, Mahindra has launched the Bolero Neo in order to encounter these questions. The Bolero Neo, in essence, the facelifted TUV300 with a few cosmetic updates both on the outside and inside. The SUV is powered by a BS6-compliant 100PS 1.5-liter diesel engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. If you chose the N10(O) to get the locking differential, then yes, it's more rugged and rough road-ready than before. Improved ingress makes it friendlier too and it is easier on the eye as well. Mahindra also insists that its customer base won't miss the subtracted features as well. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive for a better understanding of the difference.
