February 23, 2017: Volkswagen India has confirmed that the Passat sedan will make a comeback in 2017. The sedan will be offered with a single 2.0-litre diesel engine, paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch DSG gearbox. While VW haven't revealed output officially, we reckon it will be on par with the Skoda Superb at 177PS and 350Nm. The Passat is likely to go on sale in the last quarter of 2017, with prices starting around the Rs 25 lakh mark.
