Mileage is good, sporty steering drive smooth and nice car but weight can be improved uncomfortable on long drive.

A great car. Its a performance car. I have the 4 cylinder petrol version of the New Swift 2023 Model. Peppy1engine, slick manual gear box. Gear shift is effortless. Light clutch. I am getting 15 to 18 km / litre in city driving. I got 18 km/ litre without aircon in the city. 20 km / litre with aircon on the highway. Seating comfort is good,both1at the front and back. Adequate boot space. Inexpensive maintenance. Only drawback if at all is lack of1rear vent for the AC. The dual tone colour combination looks great. I chose red and black combination. Zxi DT plus model came with upholstery, diamond cut alloy wheels, 15 inch wheels, tinted glass. For an extra 50 k I got the body styling kit, with outside all round fairing, side door cladding, and a whole lot of addons. The 50k spent was value for money and the result was an attractive look to the exterior.

History:
Maruti has been the undisputed leader of the Indian automotive industry ever since its inception back in 1981. With over 19 vehicles spanning different body styles in its portfolio, there is a Maruti Suzuki car for every budget. The first vehicle to roll off the production line in 1983 was the Maruti 800. Before that, only a couple of carmakers were present in the country, and the Maruti 800 came in as a breath of fresh air. Having no EV on offer yet, it's safe to say Maruti is treading carefully towards the dive into the world of electrification. However, the focus is clear. Plans are in place for the adoption of the EV tech. Beginning with the addition of mild-hybrid systems in its lineup. The next in line will be the Maruti-Toyota compact SUV which will have both mid-hybrid and strong-hybrid powertrains. It is an off-roading capable SUV, unlike the contemporary models in Maruti's portfolio. It'll be interesting to see how the carmaker will fare in the world of EVs and whether it will remain at the zenith of the rankings chart.
