  • Q. Is the Interceptor 650 supplied with tubeless tyres?

If you are planning to add Alloy wheels don't.... interceptor is the most heavy bike of RE as of now and alloys tend to break easily under high loads or pressure on it especially in potholes and other bad patches...but if you really want to use tubeless then you can use the formula x tyre sealant or get a triumph spoke wheel those are spoke wheel but are tubeless

  • Q. Can we upgrade the rear tyre like 150/70-17 - Interceptor 650?
    Sanjay
    Sanjay | 3 years ago

The original Tyre Specifications of the Rear Tyre is : 130/70-18. The first no.is Width of 130mm; the second no.is the aspect ratio meaning the height of the tyre is 70% of the width or 90mm and the last no. after the dash is wheel rim size(diameter) of 17inches.The original front tyre specifications is: 100/90-18 and you now what the numbers indicate. It is important that the tyre specifications have to correctly match with each other to avoid issues of balancing, wobbling, braking, handling etc. Please seek the proper advice of the professionals before changing any tyre or wheel size for that matter. Hope this helps!

  • Q. What is the life span of pirelli phantom tyres and its price - Interceptor 650?
    Alvaro
    Alvaro | 3 years ago

I have a Honda Civic LX 98, with Pirelli Phantom mounted on front wheels, and they have been running for about 20,000 Kms for almost 4 years now, and they're still in a very good shape, with excellent grip on dry or wet.. No need to change them, however, I do need to rotate them soon.. I've bought a pair of Hankook Optimo K424 (ME02) to be mounted in rear axle, hope they can work well altogether..

" The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is magnificently charismatic and attractive as ever, this motorcycle deserves a high note from riders. By torquey parallel twin engine, the bike proves having a truthful nature of such patterns, among them is playful at rough and accords the rider with a comfy and enjoyable experience. The people earn laurels for the instrument because of its good seating, retro design, and both dual-channel ABS and slipper clutch, which are modern. Nevertheless, some riders point out that vibrations at higher speeds need to be addressed and propose fuel-efficiency enhancements for longer trips. Follow-up: Ensuring that these issues get resolved should be a priority for manufacturers if they want to ensure that these vehicles gain a wide acceptance and commercial use."
