  • Q. Is there any chance of reducing seat height of Duke 200 according to our height

No, the seat is thinly padded and very hard in its stock form so would not recommend reducing the foam height.

  • Q. Is it best for long ride - Duke 200?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 1 year ago

The 2017 KTM 200 Duke is powered by 199.5 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which is now BS-IV compliant. There is no change in power output and the motor continues to make 24.6 bhp and 19.2 Nm of torque. That said, the 2017 edition is now 5 kg heavier with a kerb weight of 148 kg. The good thing is that the additional weight feels negligible once you place yourself behind the handle. Unlike the new KTM 250 Duke or the fancier 390 that gets the new split frame, the 2017 KTM 200 Duke uses the same single Trellis frame. Considering that both frames are largely the same, save for construction, the 200 Duke is not at a loss here. 43 mm USD front forks and a monoshock rear suspension setup that are tuned on the firm side support the bike and contribute to its potent cornering skills. It rides fast and dives sharp, and those are the attributes that have made the 200 Duke so popular in the first place. Ride quality is stiff as well, something that's more apparent having ridden the new 250 Duke. Nevertheless, the seat cushioning is now softer making it more comfortable for longer periods in the saddle. Do take a test ride in order to judge your riding comfort.

  • Q. I am going to buy a bike, I am really confused between KTM RC 200 or KTM 200 Duke, you guys suggest me a good bike. I am not a long rider, or a street freak, but the bike has to look stylish.

Looks are subjective and only you can decide on your own..th duke 200 beats the rc200 in comfort and practicality and The rc is track focus bike and the design, handlebars etc everything is set according to that so there won't be offering of comfort and all set to target the immense feel of riding & riding posture, even the smallest bump you can feel it and no matter what & how many techniques you use to drive at end of the long traffic day you end up hurting your wrist & back, coming to track & highway it gives hell lot of fun compared to Duke 200..The duke 200 is practical bike & posture is set in that way completely upright you can drive all day happily with out hurting anything. The suspension setup is Same for both it is on stiffer side but duke 200 is better on p*t holes and speedbraker because of upright posture. On highway the windblast turns the duke 200 down because of street naked design which the RC has the advantage over that.

  • Q. I am deciding to buy a 200 cc bike and I am very much confused between RS200 and Duke200 (my dream bike). Confused because heard from alot of people about Duke heating problems. Please suggest in me in better way.

    Lohith | 6 months ago

DUKE 390 has got the heating issues not the duke 200, infact the duke 200 liquid cooling works so fast that even if your bike gets heated in bumper to bumper traffic it gets cooled within no time. Coming to Rs200 or Duke 200 i keep exchanging my duke 200 with my friend rs 200 what i observed is rs 200 is butter smooth but the plastics starts vibrations and make hell lot of sound, heating also very very low..Coming to duke 200 it's an all rounder the power is so aggressive, the strength of it is low-end but top end it struggles to stay, but in Rs 200 it shines at the top-end because of it's long gears ratioConclusion : If you need lite weight with sharp low-end power go for ktmif you need smooth, top-end, mileage and easy on maintenance go for rs200
