FI stands for fuel injection and the STD variant comes with carburettor fuel system. FI is more refined whereas carburettor version is more fuel efficient. The claimed mileage for the Suzuki Intruder STD is 47.6 kmpl and for the Suzuki Intruder FI is 47.6 kmpl. We have tested the carburetted Suzuki Intruder and except for the motor, it offers the same ride experience as the fuel-injected Intruder.
