Q. Which bike has more pillion comfort Apache rr310 or Ninja 300 or 3890 Duke?

Among the three, we'd suggest you to opt for the Kawasaki Ninja 300 as the bike offer a comfortable seat for both rider and the pillion. It doesn't matter what side of the rev band you are in -- NVH levels remain smooth throughout, with next to no vibrations felt through the seat, footpegs or clip-ons. On the other hand, the Apache RR 310 also offers great ride quality. It feels pliant over broken roads and soaks up bumps without transferring judders to the rider or pillion irrespective of the speed. Q. An issue that I am facing with my RR 310 is that, its engine suddenly cutoff in slow speed ride (specially in traffic). And some times it do not start at its first start after the off and one more thing I notice that in some days while I am in a ride and stop the vehicle of any emergency and after that its takes 2 to 3 knoks for starting? What is the reason behind those problems!

I m facing the same problem, its nothing to do with gears. its related to air fuel mixture. i tried this myself, cleaned the air filter n there is a connector on filter box. if it is corroded then it can hamper the reading. i cleaned it n then started the bike. it works for now. don't know whether this will happen again

@ Rahul | Yes. Go for it because its rear uspension is hight adjustable go for it

Dont misguide dear, rear monoshock will only adjust the stiffness you feel during bumps, it will not reduce or increase the seat height.

You need to learn how to position yourself while driving this bike.. you cant drive this bike unless you understand its dynamics.. once you understood you can go up to 300-400 Kms in a day without any hussle.( I DID Many Times) If someones seating position is not right even 50km will give sever pain and numb palms .. This is Solo tourer sports bike.. if you just need tourer bike..go for Dominar.. I need both so chosen this bike..as I do go on long rides but majority of time I enjoy sporty ride in streets :) there is an article on TVS site on learning how to drive this bike that will really help u to take this bike on long rides.

Q. Can I take my Apache RR 310 for long touring like Bangalore to Ladakh? I will only ride during daytime and I will give enough time to engine to cool down. Please suggest.

Chain lubing after every 500 kms is a must. If you drive sanely, I mean, accelerating the bike in a linear manner, maintaing 70 -80 kmph on empty roads accelerating hard only when you can go the distance, mileage will be around 36-38 kmpl. Apart from these, I don't think there will be any regular maintenance costs. Engine oil change, brake pad change, coolant change are common maintenance things.

It depends on your driving and your regular maintenance. I have just changed my rear chain and sprocket few months ago, and it had been over 8 years, I am using the same old one. Regular maintenance will increase your chain and sprocket life.Brake pads have less life compared to the chain and sprocket, and it depends on your driving condition, if you are driving in city you have used brake often. Service interval like - every 4-5 months you must do service, In Paid service - if all are normal then - approx 3000

For the first free servicing i've spend around one thousand rupees, oil changed, etc. Until now i don't have any kind of problem whatsoever except for the fact that the RHS pilot lamp is not working since its around a month old. Its definitely a manufacturing defect, but didn't get any replacements or warranty news from the dealers, even though i've reported it way back. Chains, i've cleaned it regularly myself, no probs till now. I've done around 1600 kms, up and downhill everyday.
