Is the new Apache RTR 160 4v (carburetor) have the problem that when bike is decelerated unpleasant poping sound is coming from the silencer, please can any one rectify the problem and suggest me?

The poping sound is basically a backfire by the engine , which is nothing to worry about. If you've noticed, this same poping sound is quite louder on superbikes when they decelerate or rev match their bikes. I own an Apache 160 4v and to be honest I love that pop sound and though some may not like it that much but the Apache 160 4v is the only bike in its segment to put out that backfire sound . The bike grabs attention when I open the throttle to nearby commuters to when I rev match the bike to a standstill .

Yeah, this is absolutely correct. i am having issue with silencer sound and showroom guys have assured me that they will be replacing the entire silencer assembly free of cost. My bike is 1.5 yrs old.

Yes that poping sound come from the bike... but this is not the problem actually it is known as flame, which comes from almost all bikes,in some bike it is easily recognized like in Apache and in some it is not recognizable.

Yes there is a poping sound present but i dont think its a big issue..its because of the dual exhaust system

I think what you asked about is still there. And as per conversation with mechanic ( it's slight pop only during deceleration ) it will remain there and it's not an issue.

Yes this sounds comes when you decelerate ,but i think it is its exhaust note, as KTM bikes have different exhaust note ,RTR 4V hase too little different exhaust note.

Fuel injection it also provides much better cold starting, better throttle response, better fuel efficiency less maintenance.
