Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying Pulsar 220 F

Q. If I buy the pulsar 220F new model then what will be the maintenance cost for it ? And what about the vibration of this bike?
  • New model is low on maintenance.. after free servicing u can change just oil and after 15000km u need to change chain spocket. There is no high maintenance for this bike. My suggestion is to u if u can wait for ABS model. That will be best deal for u. It's semi faired bike. And Bajaj build quality is not that Great. So u need to adjust about fairing vibration. Otherwise there is no any vibration. If rave it above 90 to 100 it will start vibrating on u r foot pegs : By ACSM | 1 year ago
  • Ignore vibrations that may come after few thousand kms. Make sure you do servicing and oil change in front of you. Prefer full synthetic oil (like 10w50 or 5w50). Also after warantee do servicing in local garages and in front of you. Use chain oil to lubricate chain than spray. P 220F has been total hassle free bike for me in last 7.8 years and 87k done till date. : By Sumit | 1 year ago
  • I do it in outside garages so it costs rs 350 for labor + rs 1200 for full synthetic oil + rs 150 for filters. 7.8 years and my bike still gives 40kmpl in city and 45-46 on highways because i do servicing in front of me. Also brake pads and wheel rubbers are something that I do change every 20k kms that in total cost close to 2k (at max and that too after 2 years) : By Sumit | 1 year ago

  • 30000 chalne ke baad bike ka performance accha reheta hai.. if you are using better quality of engine oil, like motul, Mobil etc. and time to time service of your bike, there will be no change in u r bike performance. whether you rode it 30000 or 100000 kilometers. nothing changes... : By ACSM | 10 months ago

Q. Which is better for a long journey, Bajaj Pulsar 220 F or Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220?
  • Among both the bikes the best pick for the long rides would be Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220. The raked out front, the low seat height and the fat rear tyre are all typical cruiser fare on the Avenger 220 Cruise. Even so, it feels surprisingly agile and manoeuvrable. It takes little effort to get the Avenger to change directions be it in the city or around a set of faster corners. Moreover, the motorcycles feel surprisingly light to handle. As far as ride quality is concerned, the telescopic front forks have good travel and absorption ability, but the rear end does get a little jumpy and harsh over pronounced undulations and deeper potholes. Moreover we would suggest you to take a test ride of the bike so as to get a better understanding regarding the handling and comfort. : By Zigwheels | 3 months ago
  • If you r height 5.4 below will choose avenger 5.5 above go with 220f best bike for budget : By Hari | 5 days ago
  • Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 is best option for long rides. : By Mr | 3 months ago

  • No mechanical problem but it has downside, seat not comfortable, projector headlamp not that clear at night. And rear shocks corrupt too fast but not same for all. It depend on the weather, geography, location. And roads conditions. : By Mr | 3 months ago
  • No. it has an inborn vibration issues that comes with its viger. But there is no major problem. This is the best machine of bajaj..Bajaj products require Proper maintenance. This is also cheaper than other bike brands. If you take care of your 220 properly, this can perform seamlessly more than 10 years. : By Debasish | 9 months ago
  • Not that major .. if you'll take care of bike like time to time servicing , chain lubrication and engine oil change and air filter clean .. wash bike at least once a month .. then no major problem .. Don't push the bike more than its capability.. its worth for money .. best bike in this price. : By Mohit | 9 months ago
