TVS has launched its iQube electric scooter at Rs 1.15 lakh (on road).
The iQube electric scooter is powered by a 4.4 kW electric Hub motor that helps it accelerate from 0 to 40kmph in 4.2 seconds and achieve a top speed of 78km. In Eco mode, the top speed is restricted to 40kmph. It gets a set of 4.5kWh li-ion batteries that offer a range of 75kmph on a full charge. The scooter can be charged via a 5amp socket.
The TVS iQube electric scooter gets features such as clear lens LED headlamp, an LED tail light, full-colour instrument console, under-seat light and a USB charging socket. Electronic rider aids include Q-park assist, multiple riding modes, day and night display, and regenerative braking. It also gets smartphone connectivity via an app, which shows past ride stats, overspeeding and emergency alerts, battery charge status, last park location, as well as navigation assist and incoming call/SMS alerts.
Bookings for the iQube electric scooter have already commenced. The scooter can be booked at TVS dealerships or on the TVS website for Rs 5,000.
