Kawasaki Ninja 400 India Launch: Yay Or Nay?
Kawasaki price in India will be approximately Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom)
It's time to check out bigger, more powerful bikes which we hope make it to the Indian market someday. This time around, we take a look at the Kawasaki Z400 which is priced at 196,200 Baht (approx. Rs 4,67,808). It's a naked derivation of the Ninja 400, which means it packs the same kit minus the fairing. The Z400 powered by a 399cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine which belts out 49PS of power and 38Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed transmission. There's no difference in terms of hardware either. The Kawasaki Z400 uses a 41mm telescopic fork up front and a monoshock at the rear, and employs petal disc brakes at both ends. Dual-channel ABS comes as standard. That said, the absence of a fairing means the Z400 is 6kg lighter than its faired sibling.
