Aprilia has unveiled the new SXR160 at the Auto Expo 2020. As of now, there’s no specific details, but Aprilia has announced that it will launch the maxi scooter by the third quarter of 2020. The SXR160 may borrow the same engine and underpinnings as the SR160, but that’s all the similarities there are. Design, on the other hand, is a whole different story. The scooter features a sharp design language with a full LED headlight running LED DRLs, LED tail light, a tall windscreen, semi-digital instrument console, a plush slightly stepped up seat and a stretched out floorboard for a relaxed riding posture. You also have extra storage in the front apron which could hold your personal belongings. And just in case your phone runs out of juice, there’s a mobile charging port to back you up. There are four colours to choose from: blue, red, black and white. The maxi-style scooter is likely to share its heart with the SR160 and could produce the same amount of power and torque (11PS at 7600rpm and 11Nm at 6000rpm) from the 160cc fuel-injected motor.
