Updated: August 2026. The VinFast VF8 is an upcoming Hatchback expected to launch in India at an estimated ₹60 lakh (ex-showroom). It is expected to get an electric powertrain. Once launched, it will rival the Mercedes-Benz AMG A 45 S and Volkswagen Golf GTI.

VinFast has showcased the VF 8 — an electric SUV at the Auto Expo 2025. The VF 8 has been unveiled alongside the VF e34, VF 7, VF 6, and VF Wild, to name a few. Internationally, it gets an 87.7 kWh battery pack with a WLTP range of 457 km or 471 km, depending on the variant. There are two variants on offer with different power outputs. For instance, the top-spec VF 8 Plus variant generates 408 PS and 620 Nm. VinFast is expected to launch the VF 8 in India sometime later this year.
