Maruti Suzuki Wagon R 2013-2022 User Reviews

Mileage:- The most direct question. Since 2013 I am getting 20-21 Kms / Liter till date. One of the possible reason is I am using either Shell or Castrol Synthetic oil only. I drive somewhere between 80 to 100 Kms on highways and 60 to 80 in normal Ghat sections . I have a showroom maintenance record for my car. Comfort:- It depends on the person. The car is not too comfortable I have to compare with some SUVs but in the range it is comfortable. Boot space is very less. Safety:- The car lacks in it. No Air Bags.Cost saving tips:- I wash my car. I wax the car once in a year. Once in 5 years will do the underbody coating along with teflon coating. It has the same lustre. At 75000 kms I had to change the clutch plate FOR A WRONG DIAGONISTIC. OR else if you have good driving skills the clutch plate lasts for atleast 1 lakh kms.

As we all know petrol prices are skyrocketing so i bought this car to travel around.Switched from tiago so my experience would be against tiago.Driving is bumpy and body roll is there you have to be very careful around corners. The engine is super smooth and silent as if it is not there.Love the engine response it doesn't feel different from a petrol car.The suspension works better however lights and features of the car are minimal. This is a city car not for long drives as headlight performs badly on highways. The power window started making a cranky sound.During rain, I could feel drops splashing in the cabin from don't know where.Too much exhaust fumes when you start the car in the morning.1st service reported all these issues however not solved.Due for 2nd service soon when i will get this repeated issues resolved.

Maruti Suzuki wagon R - The entry level hatchback by maruti suzuki has sold 20 lakhs cars and has accomplished a dream for many families who want a bigger space but at a minimum price. It comes with 1.0 l engine and 1.2 l engine and automatic as well it has come a long way.The 1.0 l engine by maruti is recommendable rather than 1.2l engine. This is An ideal city car because of it's space as compatibility at the same time but remember when you hit highways you feel little powerless even it doesn't matter for many people. Overall it's a great entry level hatchback. Some key points - Good entry level hatchback - Good as your first car -Build quality is not so good -Maruti is known for its milage-Good boot space -Ride quality is good in city and decent on highway.

maruti fails miserably when it comes to low range cars for family use. though it gave a mileage of more than 17 during the first year of its use, it came down quickly to about 15 or less after that.maruti dupes and cheats its patrons in the car servicing which is very poor and miserably maintained. workshops are worst in shape and are not maintained at all. vehicle will get greases and oils all over. parts are not guaranteed to be renewed when you go in for fitments during service and repairs. you may find old, refurbished parts being used by the workshop. public relations is utterly poor and the technicians often misbehave with the customers.maruti is the car to avoid when you go in for a new vehicle buy.

Best and affordable entry level feature loaded and powerful car in its segment at the year 2014.

loving it my sweeto... always gave comfort and dropped safety our family member..

I own 2023 july model of zxi+ amt variant.Practically there is no sound in engine.Car is very roomy from inside.Enjoying its city ride.Hope it gives good performance on highways also as planning to drive 1200 kms in the coming week. The only downside which is visible: front seats should have been a bit wider for better shoulder support.

No problem with the cng ect, Only got problems after replacing the full suspension and steering rack

If i compare my car with the latest models, Then it's out of the race. But when i purchased in 2013, It was having the most relevant features.Above all was the nippon factory fitted sound system which is still above average.I have hardly spent on accessories for the car.Only the shock absorbers were changed because of overload.I have taken the car for long trips covering 650 kilometers at a stretch. No issues at all.Top speed i have driven to 160 on hyderabad - bangalore highway.

I am driving a wagonr duo since last 10 years and is quite happy with its performance.Faced very less issues wrt to engine. The only grey area is ac which is not powerful the front gets cooled but not much for people sitting in rear.

Body balance was not so good, Ac was not sufficient, Seats are comfortable for front passengers compared to rare, Noise cabin underrated vehicle, A decent amount of mileage 20 on highway and 17 in city

The wagon r mileage is 23.56 kmpl to 34.05 km/kg.The automatic petrol variant has a mileage of 25.19 kmpl. The manual petrol variant has a mileage of 24.35 kmpl. The manual cng variant has a mileage of 34.05 km/kg.Even in the hills, I drive without feeling any power as i am used to this and know the correct gear for up & downhill driving. On highway, I fairly drive at 90 and sometimes reaches 110 without any issues. In my opinion, It is good for a long drive as its high seats are comfortable to sit and drive for long.Best family car, Budget-friendly and good mileage, Awesome performance, And a good safety feature easy to drive.

I have an 2010 model and till now i feel it is better than other comparators. Its fuel efficiency is better with a powerful engine and lot of capacity inside. It is good specially for villages with rough road conditions as it has a high wheel base from ground.I live in a place where there is 6 months cold temperature dropping to minus 17 degrees an winter and in such harsh weather it starts very comfortably all the time.I never feel any trouble while overloading this car.I use to carry 500 to 800 kgs of fertilizers and other equipments to fields in this car even on tough and hilly roads and it always satisfying me.Thanks.

I don't think wagon r is a good car now, Earlier models of this were way better than this one, Earlier models were solid but now they have made wagon r so light weight that if fast air blows you can feel it inside the car as car shakes, And paint quality is low that if car is touched anywhere paints gets tear out, It is worse in rain, As during heavy rain it feels like you are sitting under some metal sheet that is making a huge noise due to rain water, Seriously this time wagon r is not worth buying.

It is very reliable.I am very happy with it's performance.I get good mileage on city roads as well as on highways aldo.On an average i get 23 km mileage on cng in city and 29 to 30 km on highway on high ways. With petrol i get 15 on city roads and 19 on highways.Driver's seating position is too good for long drives. On many occasions i drove more than 650 km in a single stretch too. It's pick up is also good.No nonsense car, You get a feel of mpv at a low budget.
