Sundararajan | 5 years ago14 Reply100000 kms driven, 10 years of good service, one time tyre, clutch, suspension, battery change, the vehicle give reliable drive. Many times driven 600 kms at a stretch, with one or tea break stop evers, yes it comes to life on demand. Mine is dual Lpg/petrol variant with ac on around 12-14 kms average per litre. Cost of repairs and altogether cost of ownership is decent and affordable for a middle/ lower middle class family. I am happy that ten years ago I decided wisely, today at 1,00,000 odo I changed brake caliper assembly.
Ravneet | 5 years ago35 ReplyI don’t understand why people afraid to travel long drives in wagon R ...i have purchased the new vxi 1 ltr engine ..I traveled near about 250 km in a single run with 90+ speed I didn’t feel any issues....and some are more concerned about big engines ...in my whole journey only two suvs overtake me those were toyota big ones ..rest you can understand what i meant so plz people avoid big emi and spent acc. To utility
Mohammed | 5 years ago21 ReplyI drive wagon R 2012 VXI (92000 KM) for 550 Km twice in a month in a single stretch with 2-3 breaks of 15-20 mins (Kinnaur to Delhi). Out of 500 Km, 220 Km is Hill driving (Shimla ) where your vehicle is really tested. Even in the hills, I drive without feeling any power as I am used to this and know the correct gear for up & downhill driving. On Highway, I fairly drive at 90 and sometimes reaches 110 without any issues. In my opinion, it is good for a long drive as its high seats are comfortable to sit and drive for long.

Anup | 2 years ago1 ReplyReally comfortable with my wagonr zxi AGS 2022 model. Drove around 670kms with 4 people on board from Chennai to Pathanamthitta in a single streatch with 3 major breaks lasting 30 to 40 minutes covered the distance in 15 hrs at an average speed of 80-90km/hr. The route includes high range drive for more than 100 kms. Got upto 24.4kmpl economy and travel was quiet enjoyable. And in the return trip the experience was more pleasing.
Rajib | 4 years ago7 ReplyBought duo in 2011, till today this is my only car. I have clocked 1.2L km, daily 50-60 km drive and in 3-4 months, long drive to ooty, kannur, coorg, Pondicherry. Driven at a stretch for 400 km, 8-9 hours straight. Took the car to difficult terrains, muddy hilly roads, tea estate and everytime it has brought me home safely. I am happy that I bought this car.
Vivek | 5 years ago10 ReplyYes, Definitely, i drove my wagonR 1.0, 2016 model, i have cover 1200KM from Delhi to Ambikapur,(C.G) 4 times at average speed 90 KM/hr and there is no issue atoll. Every car can drive long way, only driver matters.
Himendra Pariyar | 7 years ago3 ReplyYes you definitely can. however its not the most comfortable car for passengers sitting at the back for long journeys. Plus if its the 998 cc variant its not the most exciting to drive as compared to the maruti suzuki swift. but yes it will do the job if you can put up with these cons. i have driven my Wagon R for quite a few long drives , i never gad any major issues.
EDDY | 4 years ago6 ReplyI drove my Wagon R VXI AMT from Vizag to Pondicherry which the journey is almost 1,000 kms and I just took a breakfast break(20 mins), Lunch Break(20 mins) and Snacks Break(20 mins). I maintained an average 110 kmph speed and covered 1,000 kms in 12 hours(incl breaks). No issues, the car is a Highway Machine! I filled my tank while starting and again after 500 kms.
Varkey | 2 years ago1 ReplyAbsolutely ! Just went up & down around 1300kms without any hassle. Real smooth and comfortable drive. Tried upto 110km/hr and had no problems. So smooth that you will not realize that you are doing 100km/hr unless you look at the speedometer. Negotiates hills and plains with equal ease.
Sandeep | 1 year ago2 ReplyI have a Wagon R 2020 CNG/Petrol version and drove it 1076 KMS (New Delhi - Patna) in a day at the continuous speed of 120KM/hrs and faced no issues, and that too multiple times. Just took short breaks of 20-25 mins after every 200- 250 kms and it covered the distance effortlessly.
Parag | 5 years ago5 ReplyYes you can take your long drive with wagon r with few pre verification ie car service, engine oil, coolant, upper & deeper, wheel condition etc.
Saurav | 7 years ago4 ReplySURELY, you need to adjust your seats accordingly, otherwise chances are there to have a leg discomfort on a long run. I usually push the driver seat to the extreme back with slight decline when I drive.(I am 6 ft by d way)

Rahul | 5 years ago7 ReplyYes, But you need to have rest in between, also it depends on Individuals capacity and stamina to continuously driving.
Subhrojit | 6 years ago1 ReplyFor such long distances I think it is not the best option. You need to have a higher capacity engine for that. Though with the 1.2 engine you can .
