I own a 2021 kia seltos 1.4tgdi dct model.In terms of performance it's one of the best i have driven.On open roads it can easily beat the likes of innova, Fortuner and all big guys with its sheer speed and dual clutch just makes you zoom past other cars while they figure to get the car in right gear.Power is in its dual clutch and turbo engine.The dual clutch is the best, It's like someone is choosing the right gear for you constantly.Features wise one of the best and the 360 camera quality is on par with high end cars.I have not driven the diesel automatic on highway but it will not be as quick as the 1.4tgdi especially with torque converter.If you enjoy driving a good car this is the best you can get, The top end petrol variant.Mileage average i got is 13kmpl with half aggressive highway and half on eco mode in city combined.I will take that anyday with the performance the car is giving.I went for top end petrol because of its performance and dual clutch which i know is drivers best friend.I didn't choose diesel because the same engine is being offered from base variant of sonet and all the way upto top end seltos.There is no value for money in the top variant for diesel.You can get the same engine for much less cost.

a good car in terms of feature spec. Spacious cabin. Drive quality is good but not the best. Hyundai Creta provides better drive quality. Features like the 360 Degree camera, air purifier, AC vented seats are pretty nicely implemented. Great fan of the 360 camera. Have been using this feature in narrow lanes. Although the petrol engine is not noisy but you can still hear bit of noise (Not like the Hyundai where the cabin noise is almost zero). In slow speed the vehicles is not that smooth but the moment we cross 30 KM, its pretty smooth. Eco mode makes you feel that the car doesn't have much power.Normal is good overall. Sports has a great power punch but noisy. I prefer normal mode in most of the time.UVO app works fine only when the car eSIM (Vodafone) is under good network coverage. DCT transmission temperature is a serious problem (at least for Bangalore). in bumper to bumper traffic it keeps on getting heated and an alert keeps on coming in the cluster to stop the car. Not sure if this problem will be fixed. But with this we can not drive in Bangalore during peek hours. So far i liked my car until the transmission issue appeared. Now it looks I can not drive it regularly in Bangalore traffic.

If you are really looking for the rivals of Kia Seltos then there must be your's internal choice to chose what you want and looking for yourself. I rejected xuv300 just because of boot space. Duster was always my first love but novelty and dashboard killed my mindset...Jeep compass certainly impressed me by its dashing look but mileage was the critical point of understanding. Later MG Hector was something new & impressive option but over design & writing BIG internet inside long queuing pulls me back then there was final option Kia Seltos which changed my mind after getting into inside and i was trying to find out fault but only one fault 'highly important' could find was the safety feature 2 airbag given in kia seltos htx plus AT 1.5 diesel automatic variant .I'm still thinking on it why it was compromised and not given 6 airbags. Rest everything is OK. I have drove it 5500kms in couple of months, city 14 Kms highway 18 to 19 Kms mileage without any problem.

Issue 1 The map is a complete waste. I entered the location of my club and it navigates me to a hospital.The map has no idea about the traffic, as there is no realtime calculation of traffic. Google maps are far better than the inbuilt kia mapsI have communicated with my dealer i.e Shreenath Kia, Thane. The name of my sales person was Varun, He suggested us to use google maps. The map was a huge attraction for the customer but in real it is of no use. Issue 2The second issue is always the mileage. Kia commits its 16.7kmpl average, but in reality the average is about 8-9 kmpl for the petrol dct variant. The average is 50% less than claimed by kia.When I raised the complaint about average. I was informed it will give you this average at expressway. Will we drive daily to expressway?Issue 3Kia took some additional insurance amount by mistake and after 2 weeks of continuous follow up, we still haven’t got any reply from kia.

I am writing this review after 6 months of driving kia seltos imt.Don't waste your hard earn money in this car.There is a heating issue in engine.You will drive for around continuously 2 hours then this issue will come.Continuously beep sound will come untill engine is not cool.And for complete cool down you have to wait for 2 hours.Before that if you are starting then after few kms of drive you will face same issue.Another issue is auto android disconnection while long drive.Don\'t think it will give mileage sales person told me it will give 15kmpl in city and 17 kmpl in highway.But in reality 6-7 kmpl in city and around 10kmpl in highway.Sometimes in city it will be 3-4kmpl if you are in traffic.Don't think if mileage is low then performance will be good.You can't race with hatchback car.Sometimes nano will give you competition.If you are highlighting any issue with kia then they will give some silly reason.

Hi, I have purchased seltos htk imt diesel, It was delivered 2 weeks back.Existing imt users, Anyone faced issues with creep/crawl/hill start assist functionality in first gear in imt gearbox, When i am stuck at traffic signals, And roads has small slopes like 5 degrees or 10 degrees, Then in first gear, The crawl/hill start assist functionality does not work as expected, My car rolls backwards slightly and i have to manually press accelerator asap to avoid further rollback.The car does not hold for 3 seconds at all, It rolls backwards as soo as i release the break.Same thing happens for reverse gear, If there is 5-10 degrees slope, Car moves forward, And i have to press accelerator asap to avoid movement ahead.Fyi, Hill assist feature working fine on steep slopes in hilly roads, Mall ramps.The car holds for 2-3 seconds and enough time to move ahead without rollback.

Pathetic after-sales service.My car went in for accidental damage claim.Though i was promised a cashless claim in writing, It wasn't approved, Idk why.My car has been in the kia service center for over 3 weeks and yet they do not have the complete parts to fix it.When i call them, They keep on delaying and no listening or proper grievance redressal mechanism is in place at all.Worst experience than any other automobile company ever.Buy from kia only if you would like to waste your time, Effort and get irritated while they sit there and do nothing about it.

7 months and 10000 km into owning the car find it unrealiable and poor build quality with sudden car stopping using the services of rsa to get it towed to the service station with each time the car takin over 15 days to get repaired as parts are simply not available with service station.With such experience am more comfortable using my 7 year old honda car rather than new kia as the discomfort simply dosent allow my conscious to use it on long journeys.Avoidable product as it's unreliable.

Actually Kia Seltos is a very good car now it has covered 12000kms maintaining very well earlier when I bought this car it was running like buttered and was getting a mileage of 15 kms per liter after crossing 9000kms its performance and mileage in city has come down i think the car needs petrol additive which brand is recommended i don't know and i also started using premium petrol only but recently a kia service mechanic advised me not to cross 2 rpm and i knocked a mileage of 17.8 per liter on the express highway so what might be the problem with not performing like earlier and i inflate the car tires regularly three or four days and I have a tire pressure monitor system on my car and my tyre pressure is 36psi i would like to see some good advice about proper maintenance of my car earlier which i used to have pleasure in driving what should I do to improve performance should i add engine oil additive ok nice driving.

1.Driving experience and comfort level: i must say this car provides extreme luxury at this price point.The car is very silent and the ambient lighting provides sense of calmness and luxury during night drives.2.Mileage and performance:the mileage is descent enough for the power it delivers.The turbo engine provides enormous torque and power to bring in fun and joy driving the car.3.Aftersales service:kia has setup a good service infrastructure and i have no complaints yet.Servicing is done efficiently and customer satisfaction is completely taken care of.Would definitely recommend to those who want to have a great mixture of power and luxury at this price point.

Kia has done a fantastic job with the design and tons of features of the Seltos. With its attractive pricing and design, People have fallen in love with this SUV.
