Toyota Land Cruiser 300

Toyota has announced that it will recall the Land Cruiser 300 that were manufactured between February 12, 2021 and February 01, 2023. The Japanese car brand will reprogram its automatic transmission ECU software, even though there have been no reported cases on the mentioned part.

Owners of the vehicle can contact their nearest dealer or Toyota’s customer assistance centre at 1800-309 0001 or by entering their Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) at the ‘Safety Recall’ section of Toyota India’s website to check if their vehicle has been affected.

Features: The SUV is loaded with features, including a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, coloured multi-info display, a powered tailgate, and keyless entry with push-button start. Passenger safety is taken care of by multiple airbags, electronic stability control, lane keeping assist, pre-collision system, emergency steering, and crash-avoidance function.

Engine: The new-gen Land Cruiser gets two powertrains: a 415PS/650Nm 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol and a 309PS/700Nm 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6 diesel. Both engines are mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission and offered with an all-wheel drivetrain as standard.

Rivals: Globally, the SUV locks horns with the Nissan Patrol. When launched in India, the new-gen Land Cruiser will rival the Mercedes-Benz GLS, BMW X7, and Range Rover.
