- The 2023 baleno has a new body and high strength steel. This has not been tested, so we can't comment. They don't give their cars for ncap testing due to doubts about the accuracy. Ncap..especially gncap is a non profit org...or so they claim. Testing is done via 2 methods. 1. The manufacturers give their cars and bare all costs of the test.2. Gncap acquires these cars and test them randomly. Question_ as a non profit, do they spend the money and aquire these cars for tests or do rival manufacturers send these cars to gncap for testing... an dwe all know how that works out...There have been reports where manufacturers who have sent their cars to gncap for testing have received 4 stars and above and about a year later, the same cars have been acquired by gncap without any changes or modifications and have received 3 stars or less... I think we can all do the math on that ourselves...I agree that checking for car safety is a very important aspect but we also need to dig deeper before slapping down any manufacturer.Corruption exists in all shapes and forms and in any and every organisation... so unless we have solid facts, we can't comment. There are people who make videos of front impact accidents where the good and engine have been destroyed and nothing has happened to the passenger section, but the comments read, 'see how easily it has been crushed..such bad build quality'... We have to understand the science behind a crumple zone before we crumple our faces on something so basic..
- It shares the same body as of baleno..... Baleno has 0 star so it shld hv a 0 rating as well....this fact is based on the testing of another twins breeza-urban cruiser having same 3 star ratings.
- As of now, the Glanza hasn't been tested for the safety rating. Moreover, the Toyota Glanza is based on the Maruti Baleno and offers a similar level of safety.
- The Maruti Suzuki Baleno till now is the king of the segment. And given Maruti’s wide reach and service network, it’s going to be tough to replace the Baleno at the top. The Maruti Suzuki Baleno comes with a 2-year/40,000km warranty. The Glanza, on the other hand, gets a 3-year/1 lakh km warranty as standard. This can further be extended to 5-years/2.2 lakh km as well. And for the two being exactly the same hatchbacks, the extended warranty reflects Toyota’s approach in offering peace of mind of its customers. Considering these factors, this G variant of the Glanza becomes a no-brainer over the Baleno’s Zeta variant. Even as a standalone premium hatchback, the Glanza is not only spacious and comfortable but also packs a refined engine and ton of features for the price, offering you excellent value. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort. Click on the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- In order to get better fuel efficiency returns from your car, we would suggest you drive slower. Driving fast can reduce your fuel efficiency by up to 33% if you are traveling above 60 kmph. There are some points that you can keep in mind while driving such as keeping a check on tyre air pressure, timely service your car, maintain proper gear to RPM ratio, do not accelerate the car unnecessarily, drive your car at economical speeds, etc. Read More: - Driving tips to improve mileage
- Toyota Glanza V is powered by the 1.2-litre petrol engine that churns out 83PS and 113Nm paired with a 5-speed MT or CVT. The same engine does duty under the good of Baleno.
- The Toyota Glanza V is equipped with Radial Tubeless tyre.
- As Totoya Glanza isn't equipped with conventional gears, it features a centrifugal clutch.

The former produces 83PS of power and 113Nm of torque, while the latter puts out 90PS and 113Nm. Both engines are paired with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard. If you want to buy the Smart Hybrid variant, it comes exclusively in G trim. Toyota offers five colour options: Cafe White, Sportin’ Red, Insta Blue, Gaming Grey, and Enticing Silver.
