Features: The fourth-gen Fabia features a 9.2-inch infotainment system, connected car tech, an optional 10.25-inch Virtual Cockpit digital driver’s display, adaptive cruise control, dual-zone climate control, LED ambient lighting, a panoramic glass roof, heated steering wheel, and heated windshield. Safety is taken care of by nine airbags and various assists, including blind spot detection and parking assist.

Engine: Skoda offers the Fabia with three powertrains: a 1.0-litre MPI (65PS/93Nm and 80PS/93Nm), a 1.0-litre TSI (95PS/175Nm and 110PS/200Nm), and a 150PS/250Nm 1.5-litre TSI. Transmission options include a 5- and 6-speed manual, along with a 7-speed DSG.

Rivals: The Skoda Fabia will lock horns with the Hyundai i20, Tata Altroz, Honda Jazz, and Maruti Suzuki Baleno.

Skoda has globally unveiled the fourth-gen Fabia hatchback. It utilises the VW Group’s smallest modular MQB-A0 platform for the first time and is bigger than the previous-gen model. The hatchback follows Skoda’s latest design language with a bigger butterfly grille, LED headlights, and C-shaped LED tail lamps. On the inside, it features black upholstery with copper trim elements. It borrows a few design elements from the Kushaq, such as the two-spoke steering wheel and the infotainment system.

The fourth-gen Fabia is a petrol-only offering, powered by 1.0-litre MPI, 1.0-litre TSI, and 1.5-litre TSI petrol engines that come paired with manual and DSG gearbox combinations.
