Decent mileage

We loved the captur, The day it was launched through ranver kapoor ad.But the price was a bit too high we thought.The look had mesmerized us.And in 2018 renault came up with an offer we could not refuse.Bought the platine model and dealer repainted the top in ivory as my wife wanted at his cost and we were on a trip to jaislemer from mumbai even before first service.Caotur performed very well.The high seating position was a confidence booster after driving hyundai accent for years.Before.Torque was always available when required.And 800 kms a day did not cause any soreness in body.I have fallen in love with my captur and driven it to all corners of maharashtra and recently to patiala.The car gives a decent mileage of 17.5 kms per liter of diesel.Service station is very good and offers pick up and drop services.And as the model is discontinued it becomes pride of a unique car.

  • The RXT and Platine variants of Renault Captur were available with an Intelligent ULC 3.0 7-inch touch screen with Navigation.
Q. I got a Renault Captur, but the parking sound is very low, what to do?
  • Please down windows on both sides so that you can hear it well and listen to others..stop a/c or atleast blower..Renault is smart in making a sub 2 metre sensors also they have rear side sensors when volkswagon cars stops 2 meter from obstacle...also captur higher varient has reverse camera ...clarity less...bu will do ..in nights too...please check sensor switch on dashboard.

Q. Which is best Capture or Kicks?
  • Both are having same platform but personally i belive Renault Captur is worth buying due to its amazing ride quality, handling and balance. Its cornering stabilty is very good. Generally all these factors are very difficult to get in a single vehicle, either you will get good handling or stability. Having huge 210mm of ground clearance still its body roll is very minimal becaze of its less height. Suspension is just awesome on highways you will feel like going on butter, but low speeds you will find little noise. But overall its excellent vehicle.
  • In features kicks is good but it have abody roll
  • Both share same Engine specs and are on same Parent Brand segment.Better to test drive and choose based on drive quality

  • Hi , according to me Tiago is no way comparison with captur or nexon as a segment . I think if you need a SUV then its between captur or nexon ...., so basically need to decide on segment of car first. Suv or hatchback or sedan . All the best
