On November 15, 2004, the Guinness Book of World Records became the world’s bestselling copyright book and ever since, the day has been marked as the annual Guinness World Records day.
A year ago, on November 15, 2011, a team of gym members consisting of 27 ladies set a world record in Eastbourne, UK, by cramming themselves into a MINI Cooper. This year, on the eighth annual Guinness World Records day, the same team beat their own world record by squeezing 28 ladies in a MINI Cooper at Potters Fields Park, London.
The team of ladies made use of every inch of space in the MINI Cooper including the footwells, dashboard and four of them even managed to fit in the boot.
And that’s not the only record they have smashed this year. The team also broke a world record for filling a classic Mini with 21 people by cramming 23 ladies into a classic Mini.
