Mahindra 2Wheelers has teased the upcoming Mojo 300 BS6 on its social media platform. According to the teaser, the new Mojo 300 will get a fresh look and a “wonderful ride.” That could mean cosmetic updates and improvements to ride quality. The new Mojo 300 BS6 could be launched later this month and is expected to be priced between Rs 1.75 and 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom). For reference, the BS4 Mojo UT 300 cost Rs 1.65 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

While Mahindra claims the new Mojo 300 BS6 will get a fresh look, the teased silhouette of the bike indicates it will retain the same bodywork as before. The only visible changes are the new rim tapes and decals on the radiator shrouds and battery cover. It is possible that the bike receives minor revisions to the bodywork and headlamp internals. Being a tourer, Mahindra could give the bike powerful LED headlamps.

The updated 300cc liquid-cooled BS6 compliant motor will get fuel injection and is expected to deliver more performance than the carburetted Mojo UT 300 BS4 predecessor. For reference, the BS4 Mojo UT 300 delivered 23PS and 25.2Nm. It will continue using a 6-speed gearbox.
The upcoming motorcycle is expected to get the same underpinnings as the BS4 Mojo UT 300 that was launched in August last year. They are conventional telescopic forks and a monoshock, 320mm front disc with radial caliper and a 240mm disc, and narrower 110-section front and 140-section rear MRF tyres. It will now get dual-channel ABS as well.

When launched, the Mahindra Mojo 300 BS6 will compete with other tourers like the Bajaj Dominar 250 and Royal Enfield Classic 350 BS6.
