Mahindra has finally announced its Auto Expo 2018 lineup just a few days before the event kicks off. And, there will be not less than six all-new electric vehicles that Mahindra has prepped up to display at the Expo, among others. These EVs will become the cornerstone of Mahindra’s theme, ‘Future of Mobility’ at the biennial event!

Out of these six exhibits, two will be ‘inspiring futuristic concepts’, which will probably be there just to up the wow factor of the pavilion. The other four could be production-intended and might include the long-anticipated KUV100 EV.

Mahindra currently has the largest electric portfolio in the country, which includes the e2oPlus, and the eVerito, along with commercial vehicles like the eSupro and eAlfa. And at the upcoming Expo, it will also showcase its future electric architecture as well as an electric platform, both of which could spawn models in the times to come.

Apart from the array of EVs and the new electric architecture and platform, Mahindra will also bring in a new a 'global aspirational SUV’ and a concept called the Stinger, based on one of its existing SUVs. The former could be the highly anticipated second-gen SsangYong Rexton. That said, it is believed that the new Rexton won’t come with a SsangYong badge this time around and will instead be marketed as a Mahindra SUV.

The second-gen Rexton is likely to become the flagship SUV in the automaker’s lineup, perhaps later this year. The Stringer concept, on the other hand, will be a spruced-up version of its ‘popular’ SUV. As Mahindra is calling them ‘objects of desire’, it is safe to assume that the Stringer might have an out-of-the-box silhouette. Remember the coupe-SUV XUV Aero concept based on the XUV500 from the last Expo?
