Jaguar Land Rover has commenced bookings for the F-Type R-Dynamic Black trim, adding another option to the F-Type sports car in India. This hints at a launch sometime later this month. Introduced in markets abroad in April 2021, this new variant does live up to the name in a subtle way.

On the outside, the R-Dynamic Black adds blacked-out accents on the front splitter, side vents, side skirts, and a bespoke set of 20-inch alloy wheels finished in gloss black. It also gets three metallic body shades: Santorini Black, Eiger Grey, and Firenze Red.

Inside, the F-Type R-Dynamic Black gets 12-way adjustable seats as standard with stitching choices of Ebony with Light Oyster or Mars with Flame Red. There’s also an Ebony suede cloth headliner and a monogram stitch pattern around the seats and door trims.

While the R-Dynamic Black sold abroad comes with multiple engine options, the India-spec model will be paired with the P450 engine. It is a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 motor that produces 450PS and 580Nm. It is paired with a quickshift 8-speed automatic transmission that distributes power to the rear wheels.

Jaguar retails the F-Type sports car at prices ranging from Rs 97.97 lakh to Rs 2.61 crore (ex-showroom India). Expect the R-Dynamic Black to slot between the R-Dynamic and the First Edition, which could translate to a price tag of around Rs 1.37 crore.
