Like the Renault 'Passion On Wheels' programme we saw last month, Datsun has also started their own campaign to reach out to potential customers with Experience Zone II. To do so, Datsun has prepared eight canter vans which will be touring the selected locations with its cars in order to let customers experience and test drive them on the spot.

This is the second edition of the campaign and will run from June 12, lasting for 90 days. It will cover many cities including Agra, Pataudi, Amritsar, Jaipur, Shillong and Mysore. During this period, these eight canter vans will visit 650 locations to engage with an estimated 50,000 potential customers.

Datsun redi-Go

During this tour, potential customers will have an opportunity to take test drives of its cars - redi-GO, GO and GO+. Also, there will be some on-board entertainment and games for customer interactions. The canter vans will be easy to spot as they will be wearing Datsun livery which will feature Datsun’s latest brand campaign, #VoteForChange. These vans will travel to different locations in 40 satellite cities, 82 districts and 250 tehsils within a 50-100 km radius of Datsun showrooms.

About the tour, Jerome Saigot, Vice President, Datsun India said, "The Datsun Experience Zone enables us to engage with customers at a nearby place which is convenient for them. The Experience Zone is a platform for us to connect with prospective customers and talk about the best-in-class features of the Datsun redi-GO while everyone has a fun time”. He added, “Phase I of the Datsun Experience Zone was a great success, and we decided to extend this activity to Phase II to tap the significant market potential”.

This campaign will allow Datsun to spread its brand awareness and give them a chance to publicly showcase their cars to an audience. Currently, Datsun is not so popular in India when compared to its rival brands like Maruti, Hyundai and Renault. This campaign could put Datsun in the mind of its potential customers, which could help them grow in the country.
