BMW 1-series : Special Coverage

BMW has introduced its 1-series hatchback in India with two engine options. A 1.6-litre turbo petrol model is available only as a base trim starting at Rs 20.9 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). Also mated to a eight-speed auto box, the 118d turbo diesel model is the more powerful of the two. There are two trims under the diesel spec version, the Sport Plus and the Sport Line. All BMW 1-series models will also come with four different driving modes to choose from - Comfort, Sport, Sport Plus and Eco Pro, which adjust the way the engine, gearbox and steering behave.
