Quick Highlights:
Ola Electric has launched miniature scale models of the S1 and Diamondhead
The mini scooter gets a functional boot, retractable side stand and a working suspension
The scooter costs Rs 1,999, while the bike is priced at Rs 2,999
Ola Electric has launched two miniature scale models of their products, the S1 and the Diamondhead. The miniature models do get some functional parts such as a rotating handlebar, a boot with storage (only for the S1), a working suspension setup, and even retractable pillion footpegs and side stand. The S1 scale model costs Rs 1,999, and the Diamondhead scale model costs Rs 2,999.

Ola Electric has paid great attention to detail to make the scale model as accurate as the actual product. The scooter’s miniature model is available in four colour schemes: Matt White, Amethyst, Neo Mint and Stellar Blue.
The Diamondhead miniature scale model represents the concept and is visually accurate to the bike Ola Electric showcased last year. The scale model gets a unique design and is something which you will see in a futuristic video game. Ironically, this is the only Diamondhead that you can buy and take home as the launch and deliveries of the actual production bike are still quite some time away.

While the miniature scale models are a nice touch to have on your desk, they might appeal mostly to Ola fans more than general scale model enthusiasts. That’s because Ola EVs don’t have a rich history behind them to turn them into worthy pocket-sized memorabilia. Take Royal Enfield, for example, it sells the Classic 350 scale model, and this bike practically pulled the brand from the grip of death. That said, credit where it’s due, Ola Electric does sell the highest number of electric scooters in India, and always manages to make headlines irrespective whether it’s for the good (sheer sales numbers) or bad (read service issues).
