Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has announced that the second purchase window for the Ola S1 e-scooter will commence on January 21, 6pm onwards via Ola’s app. The company will deliver the e-scooter through January and February.
The sales window is open for customers who have paid the Rs 20,000 booking amount.
This news comes days after Bhavish revealed that the company has scaled up production, and the FutureFactory is now manufacturing nearly 1,000 S1 e-scooters every day. Earlier, the company received flak for delaying deliveries from October to mid December.

Ola Electric is also setting up its Hypercharger network across the country, and it is expected to begin operations for the first batch in the coming weeks.
While the news of its second purchase window and the charging infrastructure is undoubtedly a step in the right direction, the company hasn’t yet released the OTA update for missing features like app connectivity, hill hold control, and voice assistant.
