KTM has just announced on its social media handle that it will be present at India Bike Week (IBW) between December 6-7, 2024. The Austrian manufacturer also said in the announcement that it’ll be making some big reveals, possibly hinting towards the launch of the new 390 Adventure range in the festival.
Very recently, KTM launched its big bikes in India: 1390 Super Duke R, 1290 Super Adventure S, 890 Duke R and the 890 Adventure R. And prior to that, the manufacturer unveiled the new 390 Adventure range at EICMA 2024 including the KTM 390 Adventure R, 390 Enduro and the 390 SMC. With India Bike Week attracting huge crowds of bike enthusiasts every year, it’ll be a good place for KTM to launch its new-gen sub-400cc ADVs and off-roaders and generate as much interest as possible about the bikes in the process.

The 3rd-gen KTM 390 Adventure is a complete departure from the current model in every department. The rally-bike inspired design along with the overall aggressive stance of the bike should give it a commanding road presence. It is powered by the same 399cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine found in the 390 Duke and is filled with rider aids such as traction control, switchable ABS, cornering ABS and cruise control. The 390 Adventure R is expected to be priced around the Rs 3.8 lakh (ex-showroom) mark.

The 390 Enduro is based on the same platform as the 390 Adventure R but has several changes to suit its character better. It has the typical enduro styling with the slimmer profile and a larger rear sprocket for a better bottom-end torque output. The 390 SMC is a supermoto bike with a smaller wheel compared to the 390 Enduro and other changes required for its model style. The 390 Enduro is expected to cost Rs 3.3 lakh (ex-showroom) and the SMC is also expected to be priced similarly.
