Price: The KTM 1290 Super Adventure S is priced at Rs 22,73,900 (ex-showroom Delhi) and is available in a single, orange colour option.
Features: The 1290 Adventure S has a 7-inch TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. It has four riding modes: Rain, Street, Offroad and Rally along with three damping modes: Comfort, Street and Sport. Offroad and Auto damping modes are available as optional. Other features include cornering and switchable ABS, traction control, cornering lights, USB charging port and an adjustable windshield.
Engine: The KTM 1290 Super Adventure S is powered by a 1,301cc, V-twin engine producing 160PS at 9,000rpm and 138Nm at 6,500rpm. It is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.
Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The road-biased ADV has a WP SAT (semi-active technology) 48mm inverted fork and a monoshock with 200mm wheel travel at both ends. Stopping the bike are dual 320mm front disc brakes with two Brembo 4-piston, radially-mounted callipers and a 267mm rear disc brake with a Brembo 2-piston, fixed calliper. It has a 120-section front tyre with a 19-inch wheel and a 170-section rear tyre with a 17-inch wheel. The bike has a wheelbase of 1,557mm, seat height of 869mm, ground clearance of 223mm, dry weight of 220kg and a fuel tank capacity of 23 litres.
