Renault has launched the updated 2025 Kiger and Triber
Prices for both Kiger and Triber now start from Rs 6.10 lakh (ex-showroom)

Renault has launched the updated Kiger and Triber for the year 2025. Both Kiger and Triber are now priced from Rs 6.10 lakh (ex-showroom), a price hike of Rs 10,000 for both models. However, Renault has made certain features more affordable now by updating the variant features of both cars. To comply with the necessary emission norms, all Renault cars have been made E20 fuel-compliant.

There are no changes to the design and powertrain of the updated Kiger. However, certain features have now been made more accessible across the variant lineup and the top-spec variant gets new features. First, let’s take a look at the pricing of the Kiger:

The price now ranges from Rs 6.10 lakh to Rs lakh 11 lakh. At the Rs 10 lakh mark, the RXT+ variant of the Kiger is the most affordable turbo-automatic in the segment.

The base-spec RXE variant now comes with all four power windows and a central look as standard across all variants. Earlier it was offered from the RXL variant onwards.
RXL variant - Now gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, steering-mounted audio controls and a reverse parking camera.
Earlier, the reverse parking camera was offered from the RXT variant, while the 8-inch infotainment was available with the top-spec variant only.
The top-spec RXZ variant now gets a smart access card and a remote engine start function.
The RXT+ variant now comes with 15-inch flex wheels.
In the Triber as well, there are no changes to the design and powertrain. Prices have been tweaked and variant-wise features have been rejigged. Here is a look at the prices:

The entry-level Triber has been made more expensive by Rs 10,000, while the top-spec variant pricing remains the same.

RXL variant now comes with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rear speakers, steering-mounted audio controls and a reverse parking camera. All these features were earlier offered from higher-spec vari.ants
RXT variant - upgraded with 15-inch flex wheels
Both Kiger and Triber come with a 1-litre petrol engine which makes 72 PS and 96 Nm. The engine can be had with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. The Kiger also gets a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine which churns out 100 PS and up to 160 Nm. This engine can be paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT gearbox.
The Kiger competes with the likes of Nissan Magnite, Maruti Fronx, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Maruti Brezza and Tata Nexon. It is important to note that the Kiger is much more affordable than most of its rivals.
The Triber is a more affordable alternative to the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and XL6.
With the updated models, Renault has made the Kiger and Triber more appealing to the buyers. With convenience features being made more affordable, the SUV and the MPV are worthy options to consider for those who are looking for lower-spec variants.
