No, there is no turbo for diesel. however in heavier vehicles turbo is given. lately even smaller cars are being provided with turbo now. That sporty punch is in DCT provided you match pedal shift with rpm else you run into lag.in any case if you hit accelerator hard and floor it you will get a lot of lag .DCT has Kappa !.4', while diesel has 1.5 CRDI. 1.4 kappa gives 140 max power at 6000 rpm, while 1.5 gives 115 max at 4000 rpm. do some research on DCT and CVT clutch and gear box its interesting ( and confusing).
