I just bought Hyundai Creta SX iVT automatic petrol and when I drive it manually using paddle shifters it goes upto 7th gear but everywhere I'm reading is that its only 6 speed gear. How is it possible that mine have 7 gears?

I think someone from Technical Team of Hyundai should explain the phenomenon of 8th gear shifting after 75 KMPH in Creta SXO IVT.
