Good and comfortable. only mileage makes me sad, and my elite chauffeur, who will not listen to me, drive his own way, makes me visit the workshop once every year with a molestation of my wallet. starting from burnt clutch plates, first left axle and now the right axle to be replaced, I even had a change of engine, luckily covered by insurance.. he has done it all for me. he has been with me since my kid was born, so neither does he leave, nor do I tell him to leave. Though he has threatened me many times, at least once every year that he is leaving and never be back even if I call, but again next morning he is back.. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

It's good car very good comfort level, good build quality materials used inside & outside of car but need to compromise with mileage of petrol i20. But one thing sure once you enter inside of car & drive it, you feel premium car like Audi driving experience. Performance wise car takes times to get pick up in 2nd gear, It easily go 60 - 100 km without any extra efforts very smoothly after 1500 - 2000 RPM. Need to say if you are looking for premium class with good comfort can go blindly with i20 but mileage wise slightly low compare to any Maruti vehicles... What else to say further....  As i have Elite i 20 Asta O Petrol 2017 model and driving busy Bangalore city traffic gets around 11 -12 km in city & highway around 14 - 16 km depends driving pattern. You can easily get around 14-15 km with smooth driving on highway & 12 km in city with full time Ac.Even i gets same till now. Maintenance come around 5- 7 thousands with service interval 10000 km.

Overall the experience with the car is just awesome. Its been now 9 years and driven almost 150000 kms. No heavy amount incurred till now on maintenance. Be it comfort, premium interiors, overall quality is superb. There is only and only one issue - in petrol, mileage is a bit less. Overall a complete package car for a family of 4.

The car is pretty comfortable. Diesel Engines performs really well when compared to Petrol Engine but that doesn't mean the Petrol Engine is Under Powered. But if you really want performance, then go for Volkswagen Polo GT TSI or TDI. Polo is the benchmark for drivability and performance in the segment.

Comfort Excellant in both elite i20 and i20active..spares are cheap too...stiff suspension..you can do an after market modification..but please don't put s bigger 16 inch alloys ... once we get used to the steering cornering will be easy. both petrol (vtvt) diesel (crde). have punchy engines..

Performance is okay. Because of the heavy weight and linear nature of engine you will not feel the punch in accelaration but power delivery is very smooth. You can easily go to 100-120. Comfort level is great. Very good ride quality probably the best ride in this segment.

The initial. Pickup of the car is not the best when it comes to it's class because of its weight.. But once you reach the perfect rpm it just pulls powerfully.. Comfort wise.. It's really comfortable for the driver as well as the pillions... Seats are really well arranged for long drives.

For petrol performce is quite good but not good as petrol polo and for diesel also it's marvelous . I20 is meant for its comfort and style you don't feel the speed when you Cruise at 120 it's like fun to drive it's meant for it's soft performance.

Go for diesel. Petrol sucks when it comes to performance. But I enjoy my petrol it's just initial power is almost nothing. But cruising is ease after 2 and gear.

Performance of i20 diesel version is very good. It has good
acceleration, top speed and fuel economy. The petrol version's acceleration is not as good as the
diesel. Comfort-wise, it is not in the same class as Punto or Polo. However, it is on par with the comfort
levels of Swift.

Car performance of Petrol in terms of initial pick up lags whereas when you reached certain speed, pulling is great. in terms of comforts it's the best among the segment. balance also is good at high speed. handling like steering and gear is ultimate

Higher fuel consumtion gives around 12-13 kmpl in city. Then if you drive at 100+ there is a lot of body roll in this car . although the build quality is good. but maintence is really high end.
