Nissan’s compact SUV is offered with a choice of two engines - a 1.5-litre petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel. These are the same engines you’d find under the hood of the Renault Captur. The petrol motor makes 106PS/142Nm and comes paired with a 5-speed gearbox. On the other hand, the diesel engine makes 110PS/240Nm and gets a 6-speed manual transmission. Q. I want to purchase petrol xl model. Is it value for money? Can CNG be fitted in it - Kicks?
- CNG can be fit in Nissan Kicks but don't recommend that because it will hamper your power of the vehicle. The ex-showroom price of the vehicle in Delhi is Rs 9.55 - 14.65 Lakhs and for the on-road price of the vehicle. Q. Is Kicks ideal for bumpy roads and roads that are steep and requires some extra efforts from engine to climb. If yes then what is more suitable, a petrol version or a diesel one as far as kicks is concerned. Ground clearance is fine but what about that extra power for off roads?
- Yes, kicks is very good for those type of roads. Diesel gives more mileage and other options but petrol is pretty good too : By Archit | 2 weeks ago

Q. Wanted to purchase Nissan Kicks top end desiel variant but having seen the market response of February I am disappointed and confused. Is Kicks not a Value for Money Car? Please advise with alternates as well budget 18-20 lakhs.
- Nissan has managed to price the Kicks competitively, especially the base variant which gets more features than its closest rival, Hyundai Creta. However, the large price gap between the base and higher variants is a bit of a bummer. Overall, the Kicks is worth considering for those wanting to look beyond the Creta with a well-equipped compact SUV that feels properly premium. Moreover, the Kicks will appeal to those looking for a stylish compact SUV with a premium interior, if they can look beyond its limitations. The available options in a decent budget of Rs. 18-20 lakhs are Hyundai Creta and Tata Harrier. The Harrier stands out, can tackle the crowded and desolate parts of India with ease, it pampers and shields, and comes with a price tag that makes it the all-rounder you had always hoped for. On the other hand, Creta is expensive. But, it feels like you’re getting your money’s worth. It’s well-built, has a comfortable ride, enough gizmos to keep you occupied and a brilliant set of engines. You’ll have trouble upgrading from this one. Also to have a detailed comparison in all the three models, click on the following link. https://www.zigwheels.com/compare-cars/hyundai-creta-vs-nissan-kicks-vs-tata-harrier : By Zigwheels | 8 months ago
- Performance and safety should be the priority. Japan's engineering is unmatched and far better and safer than Koreans. Kicks is a superb car : By Somashekar | 2 months ago
- M bought with out giving a thought for resale. If performance and safety is ur priority then kicks, if resale is ur priority then creta : By | 3 months ago
Q. Do you get a feel that Kicks steering is bit off center and hard?
All Kicks Questions and Answers
- Steering wheel will feel heavy when stand still and will weigh up at high speeds i.e. 80kmph+ because if the steering is light at higher speed then even a slight motion in steering wheel can make the car lose control. And I have been driving it from last two months. (Petrol) : By Archit | 6 months ago
- Steering as well as gear both are hard compared to Creta for both Captur as well as Kicks. You need to take test drive again. Infact salesman told that steering becomes easy at high speed rather than at low speeds. : By Rohit | 6 months ago
- I think you might have taken the test drive of a defective one 😅. It's really smooth at low speeds and weighs up at high speeds(which every steering wheel should). And never felt that it's off center : By Archit | 7 months ago
