Moorthy | 6 years ago1 ReplyAs per my opinion , RE bikes are good in order of their quality and riding comfort. I recent drove my RE TB 350 for 300 KM long drive to Trichy and back to Bangalore . After riding around 150 KMs , my left shoulder started hurting me and due to this , I couldn’t turn my head to right , if turn so , my shoulder hurts more than normal .So I have decided from then . Not to go long ride which is more than 150KMs. It remain hurts for few days after the ride finished . It’s my opinion . It may be due to my height . I am 6 ft tall .
Samson | 6 years ago0 ReplyAll cruiser type bikes are good for long rides. its rifing position is comfortable, is one of the main reason. if you're comfortable with all kind of riding position, you can choose a bike according to your taste & need , ofcourse the budget ..
Shanmuga | 6 years ago0 ReplyCheck for tubeless tyre Vehicle first,R.E bikes exhibit a heat a lot, since they don't have any oil cooling techniques.actually if you are a rider means go for. Himalayan or else you can consider Bajaj Dominar
Unexplored Sojourns | 4 years ago0 ReplyFor long trips, a cruiser or a bobber style of bike is preferable. Not specifying which brand you would finally be able to afford. Bobbers are for Solo riders only. Cruisers can handle a pillion too. Although it's an altogether a different matter that a pillion is never in a comfortable position unless you are looking to buy Honda Goldwing or Indian Redchief type cruisers
Nipun | 7 years ago0 ReplyFor long drives, get a stable bike. a RE 350 or 500 would be best or the RE Himalayan. if budget allows, try one of the new adventure Triumph bikes , these offer higher performance and stability on long journeys. my own RE Thunderbird performs well too but my back does start hurting after a while when driving on longer routes. Good luck
Harbrinder | 6 years ago2 ReplyJawa 42, Mahindra Mojo, Bajaj Dominar. But for Jawa 42 there is a long waiting period. If you can't wait then I recommend you to test ride Mahindra mojo and Bajaj dominar. Don't go for Royal Enfield, it's junk.
Akhil | 5 years ago0 ReplyIt actually depends on personal preference. Some people prefer ATVs and some people prefer Cruisers. I would go with KTM Adventure 390 or Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. I didn't have that good experience with my Thunderbird 350. So I won't be recommending it.
Royal | 5 years ago0 ReplyThunderbird is best bike for long tours. You can ride this bike for continues 2 hrs without rest. Breaking system don't fail in long rides like HarlayDavidson bikes.
Shamstabrez | 6 years ago0 ReplyThunderbird no doubt..But again engine heat is a pain in the legs..unless you keep them on the guard and cruise..
